Our Toddlers in the Fun Ones start to explore their newly found independence and are guided in a foundation that builds their confidence in a safe environment. Teachers guide our children to be as independent as they can be, while providing support through each step of the way. Each day is filled with routine disguised fun learning with an array of experience.

Fun Ones

What will my child’s day look like?

Social: Teachers must provide one-year-olds comfort and reassurance to help prevent undue stress during changes and transitions. Learning to adjust to change and transition helps students respond in a more positive and flexible way.

Emotional: With the support of their Teachers, one-year-olds explore their environment and see options in order to identify their abilities and to form preferences.

Physical: One-year-olds are interested in exploring and interacting with their world to learn new things. Their Teachers work with their short attention span keeps them moving from one thing to another, staying with a particular activity for not longer than three to five minutes.

Cognitive: They may drop items for teachers to retrieve or turn the handle on a toy to watch an object pop up. This repetition helps them learn that they can act on objects and consistently get the same results.

Language: Teachers sit and read, pointing to pictures and encouraging children to make sounds.
